HP Vertica，我們可以在Windows上安裝嗎？我們用於oracle的SQL與HP Vertica相同？

我是HP Vertica的新手。我閱讀了HP Vertica的安裝文檔。 該文檔完全基於* ix環境。所以，我的問題是我們可以在Windows上安裝HP Vertica嗎？

另一件事，就我搜索到的命令而言，它們與Oracle SQL命令相同。因此，我們是否也爲HP Vertica使用了相同的SQL命令？

HOST: is a computer where the Vertica is installed. 

INSTANCE: it is also a computer where the Vertica is in running state. 

Node: it is the combination of HOST & INSTANCE. 

CLUSTER: I am not clear about this. May be this is about the instances of Vertica running on different computers. 

DATABASE: It is the actual installed database software where the data & catalog resides to which other nodes are connected (not sure abt this also).

Vertica只能在Linux上運行，並且只有某些版本的Linux才正式支持（不支持所有內容）。

Vertica的SQL基於PostgreSQL。
