如果這是在你的數據庫中的持久化屬性，那麼你應該定義遷移到添加一列。

如果它只是用戶模型中的臨時字段，那麼您可以簡單地在app/models/user.rb中添加class User的訪問器。

class User < ActiveRecord::Base 
    attr_accessor :votes_cast 
end
