    .success(function(data) { 
    $scope.main_thing = data; 
    $http.get("" + window.ENDPOINT + "/secondary_things/" + $scope.parentMainThingId + ".json") 
     .success(function(data) { 
     $scope.secondary_thing = data; 
    }); 
    });
